Major Road in S.Ossetian Conflict Zone Closed Down

Both Ossetian and Georgian sources reported that a central road in the South Ossetian conflict zone, which connects the Georgian villages and passes through the breakaway region?s capital Tskhinvali, has been blocked by a group of local, Georgian residents on July 8.

Protesters are demanding the release of those four Georgians who were reportedly kidnapped in the conflict zone on June 6, 2005.
