Three High-Level Defense Officials Sacked

News broke on July 6, that Defense Minister Irakli Okruashvili sacked chief of the intelligence department of the MoD Malkhaz Maisuradze, chief of the logistics service of the MoD Ivane Beridze and navy commander Levan Bakradze.
 
According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, “negligence of duties” was the reason behind this decision by the Defense Minister to dismiss these officials.
