Secessionist Leaders to Meet in mid-July

President of unrecognized Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh, who is currently visiting Moscow, said at a news briefing on July 1 that the leaders of unrecognized republics of Abkhazia, Transdnestria and South Ossetia will meet in mid July.

?The meeting will be held sometime between 12 and 20 of July. However, the venue of this meeting will be named later. We can meet in Sochi [Russia] or in Tskhinvali [South Ossetian capital],? RIA Novosti quotes Bagapsh as saying.

While speaking about the aim of his visit to Moscow, Sergey Bagapsh said basically the economic issues were discussed during the talks with Russian officials.

Bagapsh confirmed that in Moscow he held talks with Eduard Kokoity, leader of Georgia?s another breakaway region of South Ossetia.
