Tbilisi, Tskhinvali Fail to Form Group to Investigate Incidents
A joint group, involving representatives from Georgian and South Ossetian sides, to investigate the recent incidents in the conflict zone, including May 29 clash and disappearance of four Georgians, has not yet been set up.
Georgian Deputy State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Volsky said deadline for creation of the joint group was June 25. This date was agreed during the recent meeting of the quadripartite Joint Control Commission in Moscow on June 22.
