JCC Meets in Moscow

The quadripartite Joint Control Commission (JCC), which oversees the ceasefire in breakaway South Ossetia, will hold an emergency session in Moscow on June 21-22 to discuss the crime situation in the conflict zone.


Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava, accompanied by Deputy Interior Minister Amiran Meskheli, will participate in these talks. Khaindrava said on June 20 that Deputy Interior Ministers from breakaway South Ossetia, Russia and Russia?s North Ossetian Republic will also participate in these talks.
