Text of Agreement on Bases’ Withdrawal Finalized

During the talks in Moscow on June 16-17 the Russian and Georgian sides finalized a text of the agreement which formalizes the joint declaration between the Russian and Georgian Foreign Ministers that was signed in Moscow on May 30 and which outlines the details of the pullout process of two Russian from Georgia, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on June 17.

“The [Russian and Georgian] sides have agreed to move quickly towards the signing of this agreement,” information note issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
