Tank Battalions Start Maneuvers

Large-scale military exercises that involve tank battalions from of Gori, Kutaisi and Vaziani were launched at the Orpolo training ground near Akhaltsikhe in southern Georgia on June 15.

Exercises under the codename Armor-2005 will last for a month. Chief of Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Levan Nikoleishvili will personally oversee these exercises.
