Turkey Grants USD 1.5 Million to Georgian Armed Forces

Representatives of the Georgian and Turkish Defense Ministries signed an agreement on June 9 in Tbilisi which provides USD 1.5 million worth of Turkish assistance to the Georgian armed forces.

The agreement on military cooperation between Turkey and Georgia was signed in 1997. Since 1998 the Turkish side has donated USD 37.4 million to the Georgian armed forces.
