Zourabichvili Briefs MPs over Talks on Bases

Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili will meet with Parliament?s leadership behind closed doors on May 23 to brief the parliamentarians over talks which are underway between the Georgian and Russian delegations regarding the pullout of Russian bases from Georgia.

Before this meeting, which started in the evening on Monday, most of the MPs were saying that they planned to discuss only the issue of military bases and would not push other issues, including those which became the reason for recent disagreements between some of the parliamentarians and the Foreign Minister.
