Tbilisi, Moscow Resume Talks on Military Bases

A group of experts from the Russian and Georgian Foreign Ministries will resume talks over the withdrawal of Russian military bases from Georgia on May 23 in Tbilisi.

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Merab Antadze and Russian Foreign Ministry?s special envoy Igor Savolsky will chair their respective sides at the talks.

The Georgian and Russian sides will discuss new proposals which were recently submitted by Moscow and have been hailed by Tbilisi as ?more constructive.?
