Georgian, Lithuanian Presidents Hold Phone Talks

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and his Lithuanian counterpart Valdas Adamkus held phone talks on May 6, the press office of the Lithuanian President reported.

The two Presidents discussed the current European trip being made by U.S. President George W. Bush to Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia and Georgia on May 6-10.

The recent summit of leaders of the GUAM member states ? Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova ? held on April 22 in Chisinau, with the participation of the Lithuanian President, was also discussed during the phone talks.
