Mines Found at Georgian-Turkish Border

Georgian Border Guard Department reported on May 5 that 20 antitank TMT-57 mines were found at the Akhaltsikhe section of the Georgian-Turkish border.

Officials say that this section of border was mined during Soviet times. The Defense Ministry will send its team of mine clearers on May 6.
