Saakashvili Visits Netherlands

President Saakashvili, accompanied by a group of Georgian parliamentarians and Patriarch of the Georgian Orthodox Church Ilia II, left for the Netherlands for an unofficial visit on May 4.

The President?s press office reported that the Georgian delegation will visit Texel Island and honor those Georgian soldiers who participated in an uprising against the German occupation of the island in 1945.
