Georgia, Iran Agree on Debt Rescheduling
In a statement issued on April 25 the Georgian Finance Ministry reported that Georgia and Iran have agreed on a rescheduling of Georgia?s debt to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the agreement, Georgia will pay USD 1.67 million before December 1, 2006, while the remained USD 11.84 million will be paid before September 1, 2025.
