Georgia Nominates Ambassadors to OSCE, Switzerland

President Mikheil Saakashvili nominated Viktor Dolidze, Director of the International Security Department of the National Security Council, as Georgia’s new Head of Mission to OSCE Headquarters in Vienna.

Giorgi Gomiashvili, who currently serves as Deputy Foreign Minister, was nominated as Georgia’s new Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and international organizations stationed in Geneva.

The Parliament is to vote on these nominations in the period of 4-6 May, reports the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations.
