Georgia to Create Military Police

Commander of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Levan Nikoleishvili said on April 15 that development of a draft law envisaging the setting up of a Military Police is currently underway.

The Chief of Staff explained that the measure is part of Georgia?s efforts to move closer to NATO standards, as well as to increase discipline in the armed forces.
