Senior U.S. Senator Arrives for Zhvania’s Funeral

Senator Richard Lugar, the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, who was designated by President Bush to head the U.S. delegation, will arrive in Tbilisi to attend funeral of late Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania scheduled for Sunday.

Reports say official delegations from 17 countries are expected to arrive in Tbilisi on Saturday and Sunday.
