Official: Dozens Interrogated over Zhvania’s Death

Georgian Deputy General Prosecutor Giorgi Janashia told reporters on February 5 that dozens of persons, including late Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania’s bodyguards, were interrogated over his death.

He said that the investigators could find out that the Prime Minister talked with unknown person approximately at 1:20 am local time on February 3 on his mobile phone. Deputy General Prosecutor also said that the law enforcers are in search of that person.

Zurab Zhvania was found dead on February 3 at 4:30 am local time in his friend’s apartment in Tbilisi.
