During the Monday’s Briefing President Shevardnadze stated that other version of Sanaia’s murder case should not be excluded. He said that the verbal disagreement might not be an only reason of murder, as investigators assume. However, on December 5 Shevardnadze made a contradictory statement, saying that the case does not seem to be a crime with political motives.

Shevardnadze believes that it is early to declare mistrust to the investigators. He is confident that the case would be solved.
