Putin for Finalizing Framework Agreement with Georgia
Russian President Vladimir Putin said, during a press conference that followed the finalization of a framework agreement, that the Georgian and Russian Presidents may exchange state visits.
“I fully agree with Mikheil Nikolaevitch [Saakashvili] that we should now prioritize the preparation of a framework agreement between Russia and Georgia. Depending on how this work proceeds, we will decide the issue of the mutual visits,” Interfax quotes Putin.
Russian President also invited Saakashvili to the Russian capital, saying “Mikheil Nikolaevich [Saakashvili] is always a welcome guest to Moscow.”
