Abkhaz Vice-President Sacked
President of the unrecognized Republic of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba dismissed Vice-President Valery Arshba on November 17, RIA Novosti reports quoting a source from the Moscow-based representation of Abkhazia.
?According to the legislation, he should have fulfilled only particular instructions of the President, however he exceeded his powers,? the source added.
Valery Arshba was sacked shortly after he announced on November 17 that employees of the Interior Ministry defied Prime Minister Nodar Khashba after accusing the Abkhaz government of destabilizing the situation in the region.
