New President of GIOC Appointed

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania said on October 19 that Nikoloz Vashakidze has been appointed as the new President of the Georgian International Oil Corporation (GIOC).
 
Before the new appointment Nikoloz Vashakidze served at the National Security Council of Georgia.
 
Nikoloz Vashakidze replaced Gia Chanturia, who was dismissed by President Saakashvili in September.
