Presidential Polls Held in Kodori Gorge
The presidential elections are held in Kodori gorge, which is the only part of breakaway Abkhazia controlled by the Georgian side on January 11.
It was impossible to provide the polling stations in Kodori gorge with the ballot papers and other equipment for the elections, due to heavy weather conditions in this high mountainous gorge.
The Central Election Commission will release the final results of the January 4 snap presidential elections after the voting is over in Kodori gorge.
