Georgians Reportedly Abducted in Abkhazia

Georgian media reported on December 27 that around ten Georgians were abducted in Gali district of breakaway Abkhazia in retaliation to the disappearance of three Abkhaz border guards.

Reportedly, an armed group of Abkhazians raided Georgian villages in Gali district and kidnapped civilians.

Earlier three border guards of the breakaway Abkhazia were kidnapped. The Abkhaz side accused Georgian guerrillas in abduction case.
