Georgia Sent Rescue Team to Iran

24 Georgian rescue workers left for Iran this morning to help search for survivors after thousands of people died in a devastating earthquake in Iran’s historic city of Bam on December 26.

The team of the Georgian Interior Ministry’s Emergency Situation Department includes rescuers, paramedics and one sniffer dog.
