Zhvania: Azerbaijan Strategic Partner of Georgia

Georgian State Minister Zurab Zhvania told reporters after the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, that Azerbaijan remains Georgia’s strategic partner.

“Meeting with Mr. Aliyev has proved once again that Azerbaijan and its new leader are Georgia’s strategic and reliable partners,” Zurab Zhvania said, who paid one-day official visit to Baku on December 27.

The issue of construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline was the main issue discussed during Zurab Zhvania’s visit.
