Revival Boycotts Acting Parliament
Deputy Chairman of the Revival Union Jemal Gogitidze said his party will not participate in the work of the acting Parliament, the first session of which will be held at 4 p.m. November 25.
Gogitidze said the authorities of old Parliament have expired, as the new Parliament was elected and its first session was held on November 22.
“Nino Burjanadze is no more the Parliamentary Chairperson, since the old Parliament does not exist any more,” Gogitidze said.
Commenting on the recent developments in Georgia, Gogitidze said there was no velvet revolution, adding “this was violent coup attempt.”
