High Officials Resign in Samegrelo

(Tbilisi, June 2, Civil Georgia) – Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti first deputy governor Giorgi Berulava and first deputy head of provincial districts of Zugdidi region (western part Georgia) resigned today.

Giorgi Berulava says the reason of his resignation is numerous violations at the elections.

Local self-governance elections are expected to be canceled in Zugdidi. Elections were already annulled in 20 constituencies of the region.
