Watchdog NGOs Report on Violations

(Tbilisi, June 2, Civil Georgia) – NGO coalition, which observes the process of elections, reports on serious violations in Tbilisi constituencies.

Reports say presence of the police is noticed in several constituencies. The most important violation in this regard was when the police entered number 22 constituency in on of the Tbilisi districts.

NGO coalition also reports that one of the most frequent violations is absence of voters’ names in the lists of electorates.

In one of the constituencies in Tbilisi candidate from one of the political party who runs for Sakrabulo [city council] membership is the observe, that is prohibited by the law.
