OSCE, CoE Representatives Meet with Political Parties

(Tbilisi, August 28, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Special Representative of the OSCE Mission to Georgia Liviu Bota and Representative of the Council of Europe (CoE) Plamen Nikolov, who arrived in Tbilisi on August 26 to establish a shortlist of candidates for the post of CEC Chairman, are holding meetings with the leaders of the Georgian political parties today.

They have already met with the leaders of the Labor Party, the Revival !
Union and the United Democrats. 

The OSCE has already received a 25-member list of candidates for the post of Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
