CoE Delegation Visits Georgia

(Tbilisi, July 8, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Ambassadorial Group under the auspices of the Committee of Democratic Stability of the Council of Europe (CoE) visits Georgia on July 8-9.

During the meetings with the Georgian authorities CoE delegation will discuss upcoming Parliamentary elections, reforms in the judiciary and law enforcement systems, as well as issue of fight against corruption.

Ambassadorial group will hold talks with the Georgian President, the Parliamentary Chairperson, leaders of the Parliamentary factions, the Foreign Minister, the Chairman of the Supreme Court and the Justice Minister.
