OSCE Secretary General Visits Georgia

(Tbilisi, July 6, 2003, Civil Georgia) – OSCE Secretary General Jan Kubis arrives today in Georgia for a six-day official visit.

Jan Kubis will meet Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze and other officials.

He will also visit the OSCE mission in South Ossetian conflict zone and OSCE border monitoring mission at Dagestan, Chechen and Ingush sections of the Russian-Georgian border.

It is anticipated that during the talks with the Georgian authorities issue of the upcoming Parliamentary elections will be also discussed.
