Lack of Revenues Led to Reshuffle in Customs Department
(Tbilisi, July 3, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Chairman of the Georgian Customs Department Davit Tarkhan-Mouravi dismissed heads of all the six regional customs departments on July 2 as the department failed to meet budgetary targets.
According to the Georgian Treasury Department the budget lacked 4 million Lari, which was planned to be received from the Customs Department in first half of the 2003.
