Parliamentary Chairperson, Russian Ambassador Held Talks

(Tbilisi, June 18 2003, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze held meeting with Russian ambassador in Georgia Vladimir Chkhikvishvili today beyond the closed doors.
 
The details of the talks remain confidential as Russian ambassador refrained from making any comments.

Supposedly issue of the Abkhazian conflict settlement was discussed during the meeting. Georgian Parliament intends to discuss the Georgian government?s plan of action aiming at the settlement of the Abkhazian conflict.
