Interior Ministry Discussed Preparations for Elections

(Tbilisi, May 15, 2003. Civil Georgia) – At the meeting of the Interior Ministry leadership preparations for the upcoming Parliamentary elections, scheduled for November 2 were discussed.

According to the Presidential decree Interior Ministry has to provide exact list of voters before June 1.

The Interior Ministry officials claimed that the list is drafted and it will be “precise with 95%.”

“This list will be the bases for avoiding frauds during the ballot,” Koba Narchemashvili, Interior Minister said at the meeting today.
