World Bank Official Visits Georgia

(Tbilisi, May 8, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Johannes Linn, the World Bank’s Vice President for the Europe and Central Asia region pays two-day visit to Georgia on May 8-9.

Johannes Linn will meet with President Shevardnadze, State Minister Jorbenadze and economic team, Chairperson of the Parliament Burjanadze and Finance Minister Gogiashvili.

The World Bank?s official also intends to make a field trip to Kakheti, eastern region of Georgia, where he will visit sites of the World Bank supported projects.
