Date of the Parliamentary Elections Defined

(Tbilisi. May 6, 2003. Civil Georgia) – The exact date of the new Parliamentary Elections are determined. By the decree of May 3, 2003, the President of Georgia officially declared that the Parliamentary Elections will be held on November 2, 2003.

Before that the current Parliament has to amend the election legislation, as well as elect the new Central Election Commission. These issues will be discussed at the Parliament’s plenary session on May 6.
