Georgian Speaker Meets Russian Security Chief

(Tbilisi, January 21, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze meets Secretary of the Russian Security Council Vladimir Rushailo on January 21.

Georgian Parliamentary delegation, led by Nino Burjanadze pays five-day visit in Moscow on January 20-25.

Before departure Nino Burjanadze stated that the situation in Georgia’s breakaway Abkhazia would be the top issue discussed during the meetings with the Russian leadership.

Meeting with the Russian upper and lower chambers of the Parliament’s leadership and Russia’s Foreign Minister are also scheduled.
