Parliament Approves the 2003 Budget
(Tbilisi, January 17, Civil Georgia) – After the whole day of debates, Georgian parliament approved the 2003 budget with 129 votes to 8. Factions “Traditionalist”, “Revival” and “United Democrats” refused to participate in voting
Approval of the 2003 budget is a success of the pro-presidential factions, who failed in December 2002, to collect the necessary 118-vote majority for passing the draft.
