Award Provided for Information on Murder of AES Financial Manager

(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, August 15, 2002) – Georgian law enforcers are ready to provide award of 20,000 Lari (approximately USD 9,000) for the information concerning the murder of Nika Lominadze, financial manager of AES TELASI, American energy distributing company in Tbilisi.

30-year-old Nika Lominadze was found dead in his apartment on August 14. He was tied and murdered with one gunshot in his head.

The law enforcers do not make any other comments concerning the case so far. The police report that Nika Lominadze returned in his apartment on August 12 and no one has seen him since then.
