US European Command-in-Chief in Georgia
(Tbilisi, June 4, Civil Georgia) – General Joseph W. Ralston, the Commander-in-Chief, United States European Command visits Georgia on June 4-5.
He will discuss process of implementation of the Georgia Train-and-Equip Program (GTEP) with the Georgian high officials.
During the visit General Ralston will meet Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze and Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze.
At the moment 50 US military trainers from the US Special Operations Command Europe carry out Control & Command trainings for the 200 Georgian officers.
On June 4 General Ralston will visit Georgian National Military Academy where the trainings are held.
