Georgian Security Chief in Washington

Georgina Security Council Secretary Tedo Japaridze visits the United States.

President Shevardnadze stated on April 8 that discussion of Abkhazian problem is the main issue during the visit.

Eduard Shevardnadze said in his traditional Monday radiobroadcast today that Tedo Japaridze has already met representatives of the US Department of State and meetings with the representatives of White House are planned for April 8.

Georgian President did not specify other issues that might be discussed during the Georgian Security Chief’s visit to Washington.

It is thought that details of the US military assistance to Georgia will be in the top of agenda during the meetings with the US officials.
