Abkhazians Fear Georgia May Strike in Nearest Weeks

(Tbilisi, March 25, Civil Georgia) – Astamur Tarba, Secretary of Security Council of unrecognized Abkhazia republic says that Georgia may launch military operations in Abkhazia in the firs part of April.

“US trained units of Georgian army will be involved in the military operations,” Tarba told Russian newspaper Izvestia on March 24.

Georgian Defense Ministry denies that it is preparing for the military operation against the breakaway region.
