Turkey Renders Military Assistance to Georgia

(Tbilisi, March 5, Civil Georgia) – Today Turkey hands over Georgian Defense Ministry’s brigade number 11 transport facilities, communication systems and uniforms.

Assistance is the part of the Turkish grant for the Georgian armed forces. The total amount of the grant is $ 4 million.

Turkish military attach? in Georgia Adnan Guler is to attend the ceremony at the Vaziani military base.

Turkey also assists Georgia in modernization of Marneuli military airfield and former Russian military base at Vaziani.

Brigade number 11 will be trained by the US military instructors on anti-terror war.
