Russian Duma Committee to Discuss Possibility of Recognizing Sovereignty of Abkhazia
(Tbilisi, February 28, Civil Georgia) – On March 5 Russian Duma Council Committee on Foreign Affairs will discuss possibility of recognizing sovereignty of Abkhazia, Committee Chairman Dmitry Ragozin restated on February 28.
Representatives of Russian Defense and Foreign Affairs Ministries will be invited at the hearing of the committee, Ragozin told the journalists today.
Georgian MPs stated at the Parliamentary session on February 28, that Russian Duma Committee intention is an open aggression against Georgia.
Georgian Parliamentarians believe that Russia is concerned with the US military assistance to Georgia and now Russia threatens Georgia to recognize sovereignty of breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Osetia.
