Russia Requires Information on Terrorists Arrested in Georgia
(Tbilisi, February 15, Civil Georgia) – Russian media sources report today quoting Russian authorities that Federal Security Service did not receive information about two terrorist suspects arrested in Georgia last year.
Georgian State Security Minister Valeri Khaburdzania stated at the government’s meeting on February 9 that citizens of Saudi Arabia and Jordan intended to form an illegal military units in Pankisi gorge, northeastern Georgia to fight against the Russian troops in Chechnya.
Khaburdzania clams that the Georgian officials have already handed over all the necessary information to the Russian law enforcement agencies.
