Adjarian Leader to Discuss Abkhazian Problem With Russian Authorities

(Tbilisi, February 7, Civil Georgia) – Head of Adjarian Autonomous Republic Aslan Abashidze will arrive in Moscow on February 8 to hold negotiations with the Russian officials on Abkhazian problem.

Meeting with the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Ivanov is scheduled.

This is the first talk on Abkhazia in which Aslan Abashidze takes part since his appointment last November as the Georgian President’s personal representative for the settlement of the Abkhazian conflict
