Jorbenadze claims to be a member of the President’s team. Since Shevardnadze’s return to Georgia in 1992, Jorbenadze has been President’s supporter.

Avtandil Jorbenadze is a cousin of Georgian Foreign Minister Irakli Menagarishvili.

Born in 1951, Chibati village of Lanchkhuti district, western Georgia. Married with two children and two grandchildren. Speaks Russian language. He has up-to 30 scientific publications and one invention.
