Some MPs Want to Ban Live Broadcasting of Sessions

(Tbilisi. December 19. Civil Georgia) – The part of the Parliamentarians demanded today to prohibit broadcasting of the plenary sessions. They believe that some MPs use the live broadcasting for the self-promotion and populism.

The Second Channel of the sate TV, as well as the state radio company broadcasts the Parliamentary sessions.

Another part of MPs disagrees with the proposal and demands to continue broadcasting at least by the radio. It is anticipated that the special commission of the Parliament will be formed to discuss the issue.
