Protests Diminish

Approximately hundred of protesters keep demanding President Shevardnadze’s resignation in front of the Parliament building.

Compared to the previous days, when approximately 10,000 people were gathered in downtown of Georgian capital Tbilisi, the current meeting could be regarded as unserious and not influential.

The main part of the students protesting against the attacks on freedom of speech dissolved after the President dismissed the government on November 1.
